Marcus Recruiting was started by David Marcus, whose background includes years of practicing law and recruiting attorneys.  David received his law degree, with honors, from Syracuse University.    After that, he spent several years handling high-stakes commercial litigation at one of the country's most prestigious law firms, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, which was selected by the American Lawyer Magazine as "One of the Top Six Litigation Departments in the U.S," and, for the third consecutive year, was named "One of the Top 10 Most Prestigious Lawfirms In The Country," by the annual Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms.

At Weil, he worked side-by-side with and against lawyers in Texas and around the country.   After several years at Weil, David left the practice of law for legal recruiting.  He quickly became one of the top producing recruiters at the country's oldest and largest national recruiting firms, before spinning-off to form Marcus Recruiting.  Now, many of his former colleagues are his most loyal clients. 

David's unique combination of law firm experience and recruiting expertise provides his firm with an in-depth knowledge of both the legal market, and the lawyers which make up that market.   That deep knowledge enables the Marcus Recruiting to serve the unique needs of its clients, at the highest level of quality.
